Why is there a rattling sound coming from inside my NObreath?

Why is my NObreath rattling?

The rattling sound inside the NObreath is perfectly normal; the sound is actually from the scrubber material, which has potassium permanganate and charcoal buds inside it to scrub ambient NO from breath samples.
